Teams will have 5 days to compete and enter in their match results within the time window. For the Chandler REMOTE Qualifier, this is November 17th thur 22nd. Teams that do not enter their match scores within this time frame will receive a zero score for each unplayed/unscored match. (Game Manual 1, 4.4)  


Teams who do not have access to any field, may signup for a slot below to use the OFFICIAL Field. Please note that teams will NOT be able to enter the facility before or after their scheduled time. Please arrive early, before your assigned time, and wait in the parking lot. Attendees are limited to 6 personal within the building at any given time, from the team attending. All attendees are REQUIRED to wear a mask while on the property. Time slots are 1:30 Hours. Teams may use as much time between matches as they would like, but are required to finish their 6 matches within this time. This includes packing/unpacking any materials needed. Valley X Robotics does have a large supply of parts available for immediate use.

Please follow the signs to the parking area designated for our event. Due to the muti-use of our property, we ask that you park within the zone that we note. Failure to due so may result in the company leasing our land, towing your vehicle.

Judging will take place on Saturday, November 20th, 2020. Teams must sign up for a specific judging call time. Only a limited number of extra spots will be available for missed calls. Teams must submit their engineering notebook remotely via email to _____ before November __ at __pm. 


These calls will be done over Zoom, and set for a specific time. Please see below for the procedure of these calls and how to sign up. NO in-person judging will be done for this event.


Teams receive an email with a link to their respective judging panel. They will enter their call in the first 10 minutes of their set time schedule. Judges will then enter the call, and teams will have 10 minutes to do their presentation. Screen sharing is allowed. We ask that Image/Computer Generated Backgrounds are not used during your judging sessions.

* Exceptions are given for images of the robot or slideshow materials for ease of use of explanation.  


​Please note the following:

- A total of ONE mentor may be allowed on the ZOOM call once the judging panel has started. 

- Mentors are NOT allowed to speak on the ZOOM call and must MUTE themselves

- Recording of the Zoom call is allowed.

- All attendees are asked to use their mute button accordingly to limit the amount of background noise.

Home Depot is located just down the street from our school, along with Lowes (Ray/Priest-56th Street).

The Arizona State Championship will take place in Flagstaff on February __, 2021. If your team advances to the Championship, you will have until the Tuesday (November 24th) following the Qualifying Tournament to accept your spot at the tournament. Please email csapio@fusd1.org by 5 pm to secure your spot, or your place will be given to the next team on the list. We will advance up to 40+ teams to the Championship plus the host teams. The number of teams advancing from each Qualifying Tournament depends on the size of the event, but will be approximately one team for every six teams competing.

Make sure your phone and robot batteries are fully charged before coming out to a match. This is the #1 reason why robots stop moving on the field and is entirely preventable!

Things to Rememeber

No Inspections of robots will be done. This is both for teams using their own fields, and teams using the Official field. All teams must follow GP and sizing guidelines. If your robot can not fit within the 18in sizing cube, your team can not submit match scores.
